Monica studied the philosophy and pedagogy guiding Waldorf education at Rudolf Steiner College, and had the good fortune of being mentored by Helle Heckmann. She also received a certification in Resources for Infant Educarers, RIE®. In addition to her hands-on experiencing starting and running Kindergartens in Mexico, she attended international congresses for early childhood in Dornach, Switzerland and Yarna, Sweden.
